Wellinearity

Wellinearity is an original typeface that pulls elements from both Rockwell and the Italian Renaissance. Using the concept of linear perspective, I created an introspective and hollowed-out version of Rockwell—while also rounding the edges to represent the curvatures used in both architecture and depictions of the human form during this art period. I chose to add narrow lines off-centered to serve as the shading style that was implemented by Leonardo da Vinci and similar artists in their sketches throughout the Renaissance. Below, you will find the process of developing this typeface, as well as the final product.
